Verica Savić, PhD, Professor and researcher, American University of the Middle East, Kuwait, Coordinator: Latina American Association, Barcelona (since 2014) and People in Need NGO, Prague (since 2011). Teaching: Spanish, Sociology, Academic and Skills Development, Soft Skills-critical thinking. Research interests: Interdisciplinary studies of Art and Culture, Humanity and Social Studies, Spanish/Hispanic Culture and Literature, Discourse analysis, Memory and power politics, Postcolonial and De-colonial studies. Both in her research and in her teaching considers the problem of a particular development of humanistic transdisciplinary approach, art and aesthetics in the Hispanic world and forms of dialogue that were being established in these fields with Europe and recently started with the Middle East as well.
