Marko Teodorski

Marko Teodorski is a research associate at the Institute for Literature and Arts, Belgrade, Serbia. He graduated classical archaeology from the University of Belgrade and holds a PhD in cultural studies from the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen (Germany) and Université de Perpignan Via Domitia (France). His research concerns ancient Greek culture/philosophy and its modern reception, material culture and literature of the Victorian nineteenth century, monster theory and literature, as well as ancient Hindu yogic philosophy and practice. Within these fields, he particularly focuses on the notion of monstrosity as a cultural palimpsest and on historical and cultural forms of the transcendental as extra-discursive experience.
