In the design of public perception, media coverage has key influence, including the quantity and the quality of releases. Although the national media, daily reports on domestic violence, it can be said that the ways in which this theme is treated in media negatively affects the status and rights of women and their perception by the public. The paper is based on a case study of the Communication Strategy which the author prepared for the Provincial Secretariat for Economy, Employment and Gender Equality of AP Vojvodina.
